Using INN-Reach Circulation

Staff at owning sites and patron sites use a combination of standard Circulation features and specialized INN-Reach features to circulate INN-Reach items.

After a patron requests an INN-Reach item:

  1. The owning site determines which INN-Reach items have been paged by printing either INN-Reach paging slips or INN-Reach paging lists.
  2. The owning site checks the item out to the patron site.
Same Server Circulation Conversions

If an item being used to satisfy an INN-Reach request belongs to the same Local Server as the patron who placed the request, the system converts the request to a standard circulation transaction when the item is scanned during checkout to the patron site. For more information, see Converting a Same-server INN-Reach Request to a Local Circulation Hold.
