Express Lane
Express Lane provides a graphical user interface that allows patrons to check out and renew items, manage holds, and pay fines from a personal computer. Express Lane prompts patrons with instructive messages and graphics as they perform each step.
To start using Express Lane, set up your library's Express Lane stations, enable optional features, and customize the display. For more information, see the following:

When you are ready for patrons to begin using Express Lane, start the Express Lane application on each of your library's self-checkout workstations.
Patrons can start a session and use Express Lane to perform the following account functions:
- check out items
- view account information on their current checkouts, holds, and fines
- renew items
- cancel holds
If your library has acquired Comprise Ecommerce For Express Lane, patrons can also use Express Lane to pay fines.
