If the patron is blocked from checking out items due to excessive fines, Express Lane also displays the maximum amount of fines allowed as specified by the Max Owed element of the Patron Blocks table.
  2. The patron selects Pay Fines or Skip on the prompt screen. If the patron selects Skip, Express Lane displays one of the following screens: Patron Message, Renew All, or Welcome. If the patron selects Pay Fines, the Comprise payment application is launched in front of the Express Lane application, which continues to run in the background.
Payment through Comprise Application Only

If the patron chooses View Fines on the Welcome screen, the Current Charges and Fines screen opens, but there is no Pay Fines option from that screen. With the Comprise Ecommerce For Express Lane solution, the patron must click Pay Fines on the payment prompt that appears after authentication.
