Configuring Due Slips in Express Lane
You can set due slips printed from Express Lane stations to print immediately or never; you can also customize the information to be included on the due slips. To configure Express Lane station due slips, perform the following steps.
- Set the Check-out: Print date due slips circulation option. At Express Lane stations only, this circulation option functions as follows:
- If you choose "NEVER", due slips do not print.
- If you choose any other setting, Express Lane prints all items on one due slip when the session ends.
Enabling Different Due Slip Functionality
If you want to enable different date due slip functionality for Express Lane stations than for library staff, contact Innovative.
- If you want to allow patrons to receive their due slips by email, or to choose not to print a due slip, contact Innovative to enable the Choose Due Slip Delivery Method feature and specify the delivery method options you want to offer (email, print, or no due slip). Note that if the patron selects email delivery, Express Lane always emails a due slip, regardless of the Check-out: Print date due slips setting.
