Checking In an Item that Can Satisfy a Hold

If your library set the Priority Paging: Refuse Item Holds circulation option to "YES" and you check in an item that has a hold of any kind, you can refuse to fill the hold with that item. For more information, see Optional Holds Functionality.

Holds on Items Linked to Multiple Bibliographic Records

If an item is attached to multiple bibliographic records, the item will fill title-level holds only on the first attached bibliographic record. The system does not check the other attached bibliographic records for title-level holds.
