Unsuccessful Telephone Notification Notices

To print unsuccessful telephone notification notices, you must be assigned permissions 399 (Unsuccessful Teleforms Overdues) and 400 (Unsuccessful Teleforms Pickups). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information. Sierra uses permissions 399 and 400 for both the i-tiva and Teleforms telephone notification programs

If your library has acquired telephone notification, Sierra generates an unsuccessful telephone notification notice if the system is unable to deliver a prerecorded overdue or hold pickup notice to a patron over the telephone. These notices must be printed. Unsuccessful telephone notification notices can also be configured as auto notices. The system generates the following kinds of unsuccessful telephone notification notices:

Unsuccessful Overdue Notices
Overdue notices that could not be successfully delivered by telephone notification. You cannot email these notices.
Unsuccessful Pickup Notices
Pickup notices that could not be successfully delivered by telephone notification. You cannot email these notices.
