Editing and Manipulating Media Files
When you add an image file to a media set, you can edit and manipulate the images by using the following functions in Media Management. These functions are available under the Tools | Image menu when you have selected an image file in the Media Manager window and the image is displayed in the Display panel. You also can access this menu of functions by right-clicking on the image file's name in the Media Manager window or on the image itself in the Display panel.
- Resize
- Crop
- Zoom
- Rotate
- DPI (dots per inch)
- Transpose
- Export
- Remove
- Revert (restore an image to its last saved version)
- Set as Thumbnail
Non-image Media Files
When you select a non-image media file, Media Management displays the file type and size in the display panel, above a Launch Associated Application button. When you choose this button, Sierra launches the application you have associated with the file type in your PC's operating system.
