Changing the DPI for an Image

You can change the DPI for a TIFF file by using the DPI (dots per inch) menu option. Follow these steps to change a TIFF image DPI.

1. Retrieve a bibliographic record.
2. Choose Go | Media.
3. In the Media Manager window, click once on the name of the TIFF image file you want to change. The image appears in the Display panel.
4. Choose Tools | Image | DPI. If the image file is a JPG, BMP, or PNG file, the DPI menu option is not selectable.
5. In the Resolution dialog, enter the new DPI and choose OK.
6. Choose the Save button in the toolbar to save your changes to the image.
