Set System Options
Available System Options
Sierra offers you the opportunity to change options only for those subsystems that your library has purchased.
Using this function, you can view and alter the values for many of the system options in the Cataloging, WebPAC, Circulation, Ordering and Receiving, and Serials subsystems. To change an option:
- Select the subsystem to which the option applies.
- Select the option you wish to change by entering its line number from the list of system options.
- Select the new value from a list of valid values which is displayed or enter the new value when no list of valid values is offered.
Authorized staff can access the following system subsystem options sets. Click on any of the linked subsystems for more information on the relevant options.
When you choose Set system options in Admin Corner, the following options appear:
INNOVATIVE SYSTEM OPTIONS D > Database maintenance O > OPAC options C > Circulation options A > Acquisitions options S > Serials options Q > Quit Choose one (D,O,C,A,S,Q)
