Using Record Properties in Searches
Some fields in Create Lists store record properties from your system's database. You can search on these fields just as you do with standard fixed-length and variable-length fields. In some cases, the fields duplicate data found in the standard fields.
To use record property fields as search criteria:
- Select an appropriate record type from the Store Record Type drop-down list. (The record type you store affects the record types available to search.)
- Specify a record type in the Type cell.
- Double-click the Field cell. The Select dialog box opens.
- Select the tab for the field type, such as Holds or Fines, that you want to search.
- Select the field you want, and then click OK.
