ArticleReach Request Details

You can export selected ArticleReach request details as a file to your desktop. The source of the request details is the statistics log on the ArticleReach Central Server.

Note that requests placed on the current day (that is, placed at any time after 12:00 A.M. of the day on which you are generating the report) are not included in the Request Details export.

Request details can be exported in any of the following formats:

Depending on the presence of data or specific features configured, the export can contain the following elements in the order listed:

Request Id #
The unique number used by the system to identify each article request.
Current Status
The status of the request at the time of export.
Mediated Status
The reason the system forwarded the request to mediation. This element is blank unless the current status of the request is IN MEDIATION.
Pass Reason
The reason the request was passed.
Cancel Reason
The reason the request was cancelled.
Type of Request
The type of form used by the patron to submit the article request. This value is the equivalent of the Submitted Via element in the request details display.
Delivery Method
The method by which the requesting site provided the article to the requesting patron.
Supply Method
The method by which the supplying site provided the article to the requesting site.
Date of Entry
The date on which the statistics log entry was created (that is, the date on which the item entered the current status).
Request Date
The date on which the patron placed the article request.
Journal Title
The title of the serial in which the requested article is published.
ISSN
The serial's ISSN.
E-ISSN
The serial's EISSN.
CodeN
The serial's CodeN.
Volume
The volume in which the requested article is published.
Issue
The issue in which the requested article is published.
Number
The number of the issue in which the requested article is published.
Starting Page(s)
The starting page number(s) of the requested article.
Ending Page(s)
The ending page number(s) of the requested article.
Year
The year in which the requested article was published.
Month
The month in which the requested article was published.
Day
The day on which the requested article was published.
Quarter
The quarter in which the requested article was published.
Season
The season in which the requested article was published.
Citation Source
The source of the citation information. This value is the equivalent of the Citation Source element in the request details display.
Patron's Site
The requesting patron's site code.
Patron Delivery Pref
The delivery preference specified by the patron during requesting.
Patron Type
The central P TYPE of the requesting patron.
Patron Record #
The record number of the requesting patron's record. This element contains data if you choose the My Location parameter when creating the export; it is otherwise blank. In other words, the system suppresses the record numbers of patrons who do not belong to your location.
Pickup Location
The pickup location specified by the patron during requesting.
Supplying Site
The supplying site code. This element is blank unless the current status of the request is FILLED.
Date Paged
The date the request was paged.
Location
The location at which the article is paged. This element is blank unless the following conditions are met:
  • The current status of the request is PAGED.
  • The site generating the export is the site at which the request is paged.

If the request is paged at multiple locations associated with a single supplying site, this element contains the value "multi".

Patron's Name
(Optional) The name of the requesting patron.

Note that:

  • This element contains data if you select the My Location parameter when creating the export; it is otherwise blank. In other words, the system suppresses the names of patrons who do not belong to your location.
  • If there is no patron name present in the statistics log in the ArticleReach MySQL database, this element contains the text "not present in record".
