Pickup Anywhere Paging Slips

To print Pickup Anywhere paging slips, you must be assigned permission 357 (Innreach Page Slips). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

To choose the message that prints on Pickup Anywhere paging slips, set the Pickup Anywhere Pageslips: Text # circulation option.

If your Local Server has acquired the Pickup Anywhere for INN-Reach product, Sierra enables you to print the Pickup Anywhere paging slip. The Pickup Anywhere paging slip has the same format and function as the INN-Reach paging slip, but it contains information about the Pickup Anywhere pickup location as well as the owning site and patron site. For each requested Pickup Anywhere item on your Local Server, the system automatically queues a Pickup Anywhere paging slip in the Pickup Anywhere Paging Slips file.

Your library can use one of the following features to choose the elements of the Pickup Anywhere paging slip:

Default Pickup Anywhere Paging Slip

The default Pickup Anywhere paging slip has the same elements and format as the default INN-Reach paging slip, with the substitution of the following elements:

Paging Slip (Top Half)

Paging Slip Text
Up to fifteen lines of text as defined in the Text of Circulation Notices table. The Pickup Anywhere Pageslips: Text # circulation option specifies which Text of Circulation Notices table entry to use.
Pickup Location
The Pickup Anywhere pickup location requested by the patron. The system obtains this data from the HOLD field in the local item record.

Pickup Slip (Bottom Half)

Pickup Site
The name of the INN-Reach site to which the Pickup Anywhere pickup location belongs. The system obtains this data from the HOLD field in the item record.
Delivery Stop
Delivery stop information at the Pickup Anywhere pickup location requested by the patron. The system obtains this data from the HOLD field in the item record.
Pickup Location
The Pickup Anywhere pickup location requested by the patron. The system obtains this data from the HOLD field in the local item record.
