Setting Up Patron Self-registration
After you have acquired the Patron Self-registration product and Innovative staff have completed the installation, specify a template or edit your Web options, customizable Web forms, and command links, as needed.
Setup Required
Patron Self-registration requires Innovative setup. Do not proceed with the following steps until Innovative has notified you that setup is complete.
Patron Self-registration Templates
Once Innovative has notified you that setup is complete for your Patron Self-registration product, you can use any of the following methods to specify different patron templates for Patron Self-registration:
- Specify the template using the /selfreg command link. If you use this method, you must include the template name in the command link.
- Specify the template using the SELFREG_TEMPLATE Web option.
If you have specified the template using the /selfreg command link, the WebPAC uses the command link setting instead of the SELFREG_TEMPLATE setting. - Specify the template using a hidden input on the Patron Self-registration Entry (selfreg.html) form.
If you have specified the template using the SELFREG_TEMPLATE Web option, the WebPAC uses the Web option setting instead of the hidden input setting on the selfreg.html form.
You must specify a template using one of the three methods listed above for Patron Self-registration to function properly.
