Possible Messages (Program Registration)
The following are some of the messages that the system might display when you use the Program Registration functions.
- This patron has reached the maximum registration limit.
- The patron has already registered for the maximum number of seats specified in the REGPERPAT fixed-length field of the program record. For more information, see Allocating the Multiple-registration Maximum.
- Registration exceeds maximum programs.
- The patron is blocked from further registration. For more information, see the Max Programs element of the Patron Blocks table.
- The record cannot be saved. There is a conflict with <section record>.
- The section record you are trying to save has a room conflict with another program section. This message appears only if you have enabled the feature to detect room conflicts. Note that you cannot override this message; you must resolve the conflict before saving the current section record.
- Patron is not eligible for this program:
- Patron's eligibility code is invalid.
- PCODE1 is not eligible.
- Patron type is not eligible.
- Agency code is not eligible.
- Patron does not meet the age requirement.
- Patron's home library is not eligible.
- In the field specified by the system message, the values in the Patron Eligibility table do not completely match the corresponding values in the patron's record. For more information, see the Patron Eligibility table. See also Enabling Patron Registration Blocks.
- Unable to load patron block information.
- The system is unable to display the relevant patron block message. For more information, see the Patron Blocks table.
- Cannot transfer because the target section has no sessions.
- A section record must contain one or more sessions in order to register, waitlist, or transfer patrons to that section.
- Cannot transfer because the target section is full (Max Waitlists is met or exceeded).
- The registration list and the waitlist of the section to which you want to transfer the patron are full.
- The system was unable to send the <type of registration modification> confirmation email to the patron. The patron record may not contain a valid email address.
- The patron record of the patron for whom the email is intended does not include a valid email address or the mailer system might be down. Note that Program Registration is only able to notify a patron of a registration modification—such as an automatic transfer from the waitlist to the registration list—through email. If the initial attempt to email a patron about a registration modification does not succeed, the system does not attempt to notify the patron again.
- Record type <record type> is not valid for this search.
- Program Registration does not enable this kind of search for the record type that you entered.
- Error cancelling patron's registration.
Error transferring patron's registration.
Error auto-transferring patron from waitlist to registered list. - The system is unable to complete the desired action. If the system continues to display one of these messages, contact Innovative.
