Patron Email Notifications
Program Registration automatically sends out the following types of emails to patrons:
- Registration
- Waitlist
- Transfer from one section to another
- Transfer from the waitlist to the registration list
- Cancellation
If the system is unable to send a confirmation email—for example, if the patron record does not include an email address—the system informs you that there is a problem sending out the confirmation email. For more information, see Possible Messages.
Registration Confirmation
When a patron registers for a program via the WebPAC or through a staff member using Sierra, the system automatically sends the patron an email confirming the registration. For example:

Waitlist Confirmation
When a patron is placed on the waitlist for a program, the system automatically sends the patron an email confirming that the patron is waitlisted. For example:

Section Transfer Confirmation
When you transfer a patron from one section of a program to another, the system automatically sends the patron an email confirming that the transfer process was successful. For example:

Transfer from Waitlist to Registration Confirmation
When a patron is manually or automatically transferred from the waitlist to the registration list for a section, the system automatically sends the patron an email confirming the patron's registration. For example:

Cancellation Confirmation
When a patron cancels a registration or waitlisting via the WebPAC or through a staff member using Sierra, the system automatically sends the patron an email confirming the cancellation. For example:
