Retrieving Volume Records

To view volume records, you must be assigned permission 781 (View Volume Records). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

To retrieve a volume record, do either of the following:

If you don't know the record number, retrieve the bibliographic record or the item record to which the volume is attached.
If you know the record number, in the Function list, select a function that retrieves volume records, and then search the record number index for the record number. For the list of which functions retrieve which record types, see Record Types Accessed by Searches.
