Outstanding patron requests

Libraries with multiple PACs should call Innovative if this message displays on a machine other than the main one (e.g., if it displays on a PAC2). If this message displays on an additional machine, it indicates the number of circulation requests that have not been transferred from the additional machine to the main one.

Items waiting on the holdshelf

These are returned items waiting to be checked out to the next patron or to have the hold cleared.

Pickup and cancellation, recall, and paging notices

You can print these notices in Circulation app.

Note that system-generated review files are created automatically for the following:

Purchase alerts to list

Purchase alerts are created when the number of holds placed on an item or bibliographic record reaches the threshold set by the library. At this point, the library may want to buy more copies.

You can copy the system-generated list of purchase alerts to a review file to view and print it. See Copying a Review File.

Items on search

These are items whose STATUS is set to "MISSING" or "CLAIMED RETURNED" through methods that place the item in the ON SEARCH file. See the description of the STATUS fixed-length field in item records for more information.

You can copy the system-generated list of items on search to a review file to view and print it. See Copying a Review File.

Items with holds

The number of items that are currently checked out and have outstanding item level holds. Note that this is not the same as the total number of items with holds, or the total number of holds.

You can copy the system-generated list of items with holds to a review file to view and print it. See Copying a Review File.

Items overdue

This is the number of all items that are overdue, although not all may require overdue notices at this time. You can print overdue notices for those items that require overdue notices.

You can copy the system-generated list of overdues to a review file to view and print it. See Copying a Review File.
