Delete a Hold Request

If a hold request has a status that allows it to be canceled, it can also be deleted. For a list of all hold statuses that can be canceled, see Cancel Hold Requests. The Delete option is available.

To delete a hold request:

  1. Do one of the following actions:
    • From the Patron Record | Holds view, select a hold request, and click Delete.
    • From the Request Manager | Holds view, select a hold request, and click Delete.
    • From the Hold Request workform, select ACTIONS | Delete .

The Delete hold request message box appears.

  1. Click CONTINUE to delete the hold request.
