Viewing My Record Feeds
Patrons can view their My Record feeds as follows:
- The patron subscribes to My Record feeds using a feed reader (which can be part of a portal browser, email client, or as a standalone program).
- The patron launches the feed reader and the feed reader requests the latest version of the patron's My Record Feed from the Innovative server.
- The system generates a feed and sends it to the URL for the patron record based on the record changes fitting the criteria of a feed entry generating event.
- The patron views the feed in a feed reader. The feed contains a title and a link. For example:
Materials ready for pickup on hold shelf - The patron clicks the link in the feed.
- If the patron is not currently logged-in to a My Account session in the browser, the system displays a patron validation screen requiring the patron to verify before accessing the patron record.
Feed Generating Events
The following is a list of all events that will generate a patron record feed.

| The patron is registered for one or more programs with a session that will occur between tomorrow and tomorrow+6 days | Program session starts soon | The programs screen in the patron record |
