Additional Items to Acquire

Your library can place a WebPAC /acquire command link on your WebPAC pages. When the user selects this link, the WebPAC displays an acquisition form that the user can complete and submit. By default, this form prompts for:

• Author
• Title
• Where and when the item was published
• Where the user heard about the item
• Other Information
• Patron verification

If the user is validated, the WebPAC submits the Acquisitions request. If the system is unable to validate the user, the WebPAC records the request as a "Suggestion".

You can customize the display of this page with the acquire_web.html form, as needed.

Library staff can read the suggestions by accessing the Recommend function.
