Refreshing Web Applications

To refresh Web applications, you must be assigned the appropriate permission:

  • 572 (Refresh Research Pro changes)
  • 573 (Refresh Ecommerce changes)
  • 574 (Refresh Program Registration changes)
  • 576 (Refresh CAS changes)

After you have made changes to system-specific files for Ecommerce, Program Registration, or Research Pro, you must refresh the system to display the changes. The system-specific files that use the Refresh function are:

Ecommerce Any Ecommerce customizable Web forms.
Any Ecommerce Web options.
Program Registration Any Program Registration customizable Web forms.
Any Ecommerce for Program Registration Web options.
Research Pro Any Research Pro file or Web option.
Innovative Integrated Login (CAS)

Any Innovative Integrated Login form or related file.

To refresh Ecommerce, Program Registration, or Research Pro, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Web Master function, choose Tools | Refresh Application.
  2. Choose the appropriate instance to refresh (for example, Refresh Research Pro changes (live)).

The system displays the Refresh Status page until the system has implemented all required changes (system implementation usually takes approximately one minute).
