FTS File Save Printing
To create a print job file:
- Choose Print.
- Choose the FTS File Save printer. Printing to FTS File Save sends the print job to a file.
FTS File Save Printing and Your Login
- To enable printing to FTS File Save, the FTS File Save printer must be assigned to your login.
- If a print job file for your login already exists on the system, printouts are appended to that file. You should transfer and/or delete the file immediately or soon after printing to the FTS File Save printer so that printouts of different types are not mixed together.
To print the file, you must transfer it to another computer or device.
Through the Transfer files using FTS (prt) menu option in Data Exchange you can:
- transfer the file to another computer
- view the size and date last modified of the file
- view the content of the file
- copy the file

- delete the file
