Creating an ArticleReach Journal Title Report

To create an ArticleReach Journal Title report, you must be assigned permission 703 (ArticleReach Statistics Reports). See Permissions Used By Sierra for more information.

To create an ArticleReach Journal Title report:

  1. Choose Journal Title from the Function list. The system displays the Journal Title Report parameters panel.
  2. Enter dates in the Start Date and End Date text boxes. Alternatively, double-click the Start Date or End Date text box to open a Select Date dialog. The Select Date dialog enables you to choose the date you want on a calendar. The start date cannot precede the first date on which statistics are available.
Dates Retained for Current Session

Dates entered in the Date Range text boxes are retained when you choose another ArticleReach function and return to the Journal Title display. The dates are retained throughout the duration of the current session.

  1. Choose the Submit button. The system checks that the dates you enter are valid. Valid dates are chronologically consistent (that is, the Start Date precedes the End Date).
    • If the dates you enter are valid, the report displays in the lower half of the screen. The report includes a new entry for each request within the date range. The total number of entries in the report is displayed in a message in the status bar.

    • If the dates you enter are not valid, the system displays the following message:

      Invalid date range.

      In response to this message:
      1. Choose OK.
      2. Correct the dates in Start Date and End Date boxes.
      3. Choose the Submit button to submit the corrected report request.
  2. Continue as appropriate:
    • To sort the entries in the report, click on the heading of the column by which you want to sort. By default, the entries are sorted by Journal Title.
    • To print the report, choose the Print button.
    • To export the report, see Exporting an ArticleReach Statistics Report.
