Refreshing the Display of ArticleReach Requests
When you refresh the display of ArticleReach requests, your system attempts to contact the central ArticleReach database and update the local data underlying the information displayed on the screen. In cases where article requests are processed simultaneously by multiple staff members in the same library, it can be useful to refresh the request display to ensure that local data reflects the most recent request status updates.
The system automatically refreshes the display of ArticleReach requests whenever you select any of the following from the Function list:
- Print Paged Requests
- Process Paged Request
- Mediate Requests
- Checkin Requests
To manually refresh the display of ArticleReach requests, choose the Refresh icon in any ArticleReach screen.
When the system displays the updated request information, it retains the previous sort order or any selections you might have made prior to the refresh. The system also updates the Refreshed time in the status bar.
You can also configure your system, by login, to automatically refresh at given intervals while you are viewing paged requests for printing and processing paged requests. For more information, see the ArticleReach tab.
