Maintain Record Links

The Maintain record LINKS option in Admin Corner enables you to maintain the links between bibliographic records and their attached item, order, and holdings (checkin) records.

When you choose the Maintain record LINKS option, Sierra displays the following menu options:

R > REARRANGE attached records alphabetically by location
Choose this option to rearrange the order in which the system displays records attached to bibliographic records.
U > UPDATE locations in bibliographic records
Choose this option to synchronize bibliographic location values after modifying location values in attached records.
B > BOTH rearrange attached records and update locations
Choose this option to perform both functions described above.
