My Lists Options

If your organization has set up the My Lists feature, you can use the following Web options to modify your presentation of My Lists. Review these options to determine any necessary setup that your organization might need to perform.

ICON_BACK_TO_MYLISTS[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the Return to My Lists link that displays in records viewed from a user's lists. Clicking this link returns the user to the list of items. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_BACK_TO_MYLISTS=<strong>Return to My Lists</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_BACK_TO_MYLISTS=<img src="/screens/back_to_my_lists.gif" alt="Return to My Lists" border="0" />

If this option is not defined, the system uses the following default setting:

ICON_BACK_TO_MYLISTS=Back to My Lists

This option can vary by scope and language.

ICON_MYLISTS[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the My Lists link in the patron record display. Clicking this link takes the patron to the patron's personalized list of titles. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS=<strong>My Lists</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLISTS=<img src="/screens/my_lists.gif" alt="My Lists" border="0" />

If this option is not defined, the system uses the following default setting:

ICON_MYLISTS_BRIEF[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the Add to My Lists link in the brief citation display. Clicking this link adds the record to the user's list. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_REMOVE_DUPLICATES[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the link to remove titles from the My List that exist in the patron's reading history. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_REMOVE_DUPLICATES=<strong>Remove Titles Already in Reading History</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLIST_REMOVE_DUPLICATES=<img src="/screens/mylist_remove_duplicates.gif" alt="Remove titles already in Reading History" border="0" />

There is no default setting for this option. If this option is not defined, the system does not display a link to remove titles that exist in the patron's reading history.

ICON_MYLISTS_RENAME[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the Change name/description link in the list display. Clicking this link enables the renaming function for a list. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_RENAME=<strong>Rename List</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLISTS_RENAME=<img src="/screens/mylists_rename.gif" alt="Rename List" border="0" />

If this option is not defined, the system uses the following default setting:

ICON_MYLISTS_RENAME=Change name/description

ICON_MYLISTS_REQUEST[scope][_lang]

This option defines the Request link that WebPAC generates in the patron's My Lists display for requestable items. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_REQUEST=<strong>Request</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLISTS_REQUEST=<img src="/screens/mylists_request.gif" alt="Request" border="0" />

If this option is not defined, the system uses the following default setting:

ICON_MYLISTS_REQUEST=Request

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the Save to My Lists link in the Book Cart form. Clicking the link saves an individual record to the patron's list. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE=<strong>Save to My List</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE=<img src="/screens/mylists_save.gif" alt="Save to My Lists" border="0" />

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE_TO_LIST[scope][_lang]

This option defines the display properties for the Save to List icon in the index browse display. This option accepts an HTML value that defines the text or an image to use as the link. For example:

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE_TO_LIST=<strong>Save to List</strong>

For a graphic link example:

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE_TO_LIST=<img src="/screens/save_to_list.gif" alt="Save to List" border="0" />

If this option is not defined, the system uses the following default setting:

ICON_MYLISTS_SAVE_TO_LIST=Save to List

This option can vary by scope and language.

MY_LISTS[scope][_P#][_lang]

When this option is set to a "true" value (any word starting with 't', 'T', 'y', 'Y', or the number '1') the WebPAC enables the functionality for My Lists.

If this option is set to a "false" value (any word starting with 'f', 'F', 'n', 'N', or the number '0'), or is not defined, the WebPAC does not offer the My Lists feature.
