Limiting Requests by Patron Type or PCODE

If your library has enabled patron verification, you can limit requests in the WebPAC by patron type (PTYPE) or patron code (PCODE).

To limit requests by PTYPE or PCODE:

1. Decide which of the following patron record fields you want the system to check when determining patron eligibility for requests:
   • PTYPE
   • PCODE1
   • PCODE2
   • PCODE3
   • PCODE4
2. Specify which field the system uses via the OPAC option Requests: Patron eligibility determined by in the Admin Corner.
3. Enter a list of eligible PTYPE or PCODE values in the OPAC option Requests: Eligible patrons in the Admin Corner.
