Clearing Cancelled and Expired Bookings

Your library can specify how long Sierra should archive cancelled and expired bookings (see Setting Up the Product). Sierra automatically clears bookings that have been archived longer this amount when you enter Bookings Maintenance or Bookings Event Maintenance. If Sierra clears all of the bookings associated with an event, then the event is also cleared.

In addition, when you enter Bookings Maintenance or Bookings Event Maintenance, the system removes expired bookings from the Bookings tab in the patron and item records.
