Blocking Bookings

To prevent an item from being booked, add a NOTE to its item record with the text booking blocked. For information on editing item records, see Editing Records and Inserting Variable-length Fields.

Once an item is blocked from booking, Sierra displays a warning message when you try to book the item. For more information, see possible messages.

If you later decide to allow bookings on the item, remove the NOTE from the item record.
