Using Batch Check-In in Sierra

Batch Check-In is available in Sierra 6.5 and later.

To use Batch Check-In function, it needs to be added to a workflow using the Admin App.

To use the Batch Check-In function, you must be assigned permission 59 (Batch Checkin). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

You can use Batch Check-In from the application directly. The Batch Check-In function in Sierra allows you to check in a batch of items by choosing a specific file from a list of relevant review files that contain items that can be checked in. When using Batch Check-In, you can also select a hold cancellation notice.

Batch Check-In functionality is still available in Admin Corner.

Checking in multiple items with Batch Check-In

To check multiple items with Batch Check-In:

  1. Select Batch Check-In from the Function list.

    The Batch Check-In screen appears.

  2. Select the desired Review file.

  3. Select the desired Hold cancellation notice.

  4. (Optional) Select View Notice to view the selected notice.

  5. Select Process.

    Sierra displays a confirmation prompt.

  6. Select Yes.

    The items in the selected review file are checked in.

  7. (Optional) Select View Results to view the results of the checking in.

    The list of items appears on the bottom of the screen with the corresponding status.
