Enabling ArticleReach Requesting in WebBridge

If the WebBridge product is enabled at your site, your patrons can use WebBridge to submit ArticleReach requests while searching local resources.

To enable your patrons to place ArticleReach requests using WebBridge, define ArticleReach as a target resource. It is recommended that you:

Create an ArticleReach category, to which you assign the ArticleReach target resource.
Link to ArticleReach from the WebPAC full record display.
Link to ArticleReach from an external origin, if applicable at your site.

In defining ArticleReach as target resource, you must construct a resource URL with dynamic content.

Note that you can suppress ArticleReach as a target resource under a number of conditions. For example, you can suppress the ArticleReach category if the system identifies a full text version of the article available through local resources.
