Cancelling an ArticleReach Request in WebPAC
If your library has enabled the View Your Patron Record feature, your patrons can cancel their ArticleReach requests when they view them in the Patron Record display in WebPACC. Patrons can only cancel a request if the request status displays as "REQUESTED".
If a request's status is "REQUESTED", a check box displays in the Mark to Cancel column of the display.
To cancel individual or multiple requests, patrons can select this check box for the request(s) to be cancelled, and then click the link defined by the ICON_PAT_CANCELMARK Web option. The system cancels all ArticleReach requests for which the check box is selected.
To cancel all the ArticleReach requests in the Patron Record display, patrons do not need to select any check boxes. Instead, they can click the link defined by the ICON_PAT_CANCELALL Web option, and the system cancels all ArticleReach requests listed in the display.
When a patron cancels a request in WebPAC, the cancellation reason is logged as "Cancelled by patron."
