Creating Fund Records

To create fund records, you must be assigned permission 085 (Fund file maintenance). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

To create a fund record:

  1. Choose Funds from the Function list.
  2. Choose the Current Funds folder.
  3. Choose the New Fund icon from the toolbar.
  4. Enter the fund code and fund name. Once you fill in these required fields, you can continue to add information to your new fund record. For information on the fund fields, see Fields in Sierra Funds.
  5. When you have finished creating the fund record, choose Save.
