Maintaining Record Links
Bibliographic records can have multiple item, order, and holdings (checkin) records attached to them. Your library can acquire the feature to maintain links between bibliographic records and their attached records, based on the location fields in the attached records.
Two menu options in Admin Corner maintain record links. Your library can acquire one or both.
This option enables you to rearrange attached records by location, update locations in bibliographic records, and edit the Campus/Branch Location Mapping file. The menu text can be changed to R > REARRANGE/Maintain Record Links if your library also has the K > Daily Record LINK Maintenance option.
This option provides a faster method of updating locations in bibliographic records.
