Sierra Administration
The administration section of the Sierra WebHelp contains system administration and configuration information. It offers both step-by-step instructions and descriptive information for administering Sierra.
Administration options are located in three separate areas in the Sierra system:
- Sierra Administration Application -- These options are accessible through a web-based interface. Here you can manage user accounts, perform backend management of the system, and manage other products and web applications (such as Encore, Sierra Scheduler, and so on).
- Admin Corner -- These options are accessible using a character-based SSH client. Here you can set various Circulation, Acquisitions, OPAC, and other system options.
- Sierra Desktop Administration -- These options are accessible in the Sierra Desktop Application. Here you can set various parameters, set password polices, and define login-specific settings.
