Viewing and Sorting Items in a List

You can select a list on the My Lists screen to see the item entries for that list. As you scroll through the list and view item entries, your place in the list is saved. When you return to the same list after going to a different screen or signing out of Mobile Worklists, the list displays the last item viewed.

From item entries view, you can go to the Sorting screen to set the sort order for the items. Once you set a sort order for the items in a list, the sort order remains for that list whenever you sign into Mobile Worklists, even if you sign in on a different device. Other users can set their own sort order for the same list without affecting your sort.

Imported lists appear in the order set in Sierra. If no sort order is specified for the list, in either Sierra or Mobile Worklists, the items are sorted by the date they were added to the list. If you add new items to the list by scanning them or moving them from another list, they appear in the order in which they were added. You can refresh the list to sort the added items. When you delete items from the list, the remaining items are sorted according to the rules you set up.

Viewing Items in a List

To view the items in a list:

  1. From the My Lists screen, tap the row that identifies the list you want to view. The items in the list appear.
  2. Swipe up or down in the list to scroll through the items.

To return to the top of the list, tap the time at the top of the screen.

Sorting and Filtering Items in a List

From the list of items, you can filter the list by location, sort in ascending or descending order, and use the Sorting screen to set up specific sorting rules.

To filter by location:

  1. From the My Lists screen, tap the work list you want to filter.
  2. Tap All Locations.
  3. Select one or more locations to filter by those locations.
  4. (Optional) Email the list.

To change the sort order of the item entries from ascending to descending, do the following:

  1. From the My Lists screen, tap the row that identifies the list you want to view. The item entries appear.
  2. Slide the Sort List by Descending toggle. A message confirms the list is sorted, and the sort indicator appears on the Mobile Worklists icon .

To set up sorting rules for the item entries in a list, do the following:

  1. From the list of item entries, tap . The Sorting screen appears.
  2. Tap a sort rule for the primary sort order.
  3. To apply additional sort rules, tap the rules in the order in which you want them applied.
  4. To change the order in which the rules are applied, slide a rule up or down.
  5. To change the sorting order from ascending to descending, slide the Sort List by Descending toggle at the top of the screen.
  6. Tap Done to apply the sorting rules and return to the list of items. A message confirms the list is sorted, and the sort indicator appears on the Mobile Worklists icon . If you apply sorting rules to a list with three items or less, the sort indicator does not appear on the icon.
