Creating Lists

In Mobile Worklists, you can create lists from both the Home screen and the My Lists screens by one of the following methods:

Creating a New List

To create a list:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Add a List, or from the My Lists screen, tap .
  2. Tap Create a New List.
  3. Tap inside the List Name box, enter a name for the list, and tap OK. Then add items to your new list.
  4. Save the list.

Importing a Review File from the Sierra Platform

When you create a list by importing a Sierra review file (a list of item records generated within Sierra Reports), you can select only a complete review file. Once you have imported a complete review file, you can perform all standard Mobile Worklists functions such as deleting items, adding items, flagging items, moving items, exporting the list, emailing the list, or deleting the list.

To import a list of items from a Sierra review file:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Add a list, or from the My Lists screen, tap .
  2. Tap Import a list.
  3. Tap the review file you want to import.
  4. Enter a new name for the list or accept the default name. If the list name is empty, the OK button is inactive.
  5. Tap OK. The list appears on the My Lists screen with Loading... under the list name. When the import is complete, the message [list name] was successfully imported appears.

If you import a very large list, Mobile Worklists displays a placeholder entry on the My Lists screen. You cannot view the list's contents until the import is finished. You can continue working on other lists or use other apps on your device while the import is in progress. Mobile Worklists provides a pop-up notification when the list is complete.

If your list import fails, you can delete the list entry. If a list import fails, the list entry and notification appear only on the device that initiated the import.

Importing a Title Paging List

To import a title paging list as a worklist:

  1. From the Home screen, tap Add a list, or from the My Lists screen, tap.
  2. Tap Import Title Paging List. The list appears on the My Lists screen with Loading... under the list name. When the import is complete, the message "[list name] was successfully imported" appears.
  3. (Optional) To export, email, or delete the list, swipe left on the list name.
