Viewing Circulation Requests Reports

To view these reports, you must be authorized for function 17 (Circulation statistics). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

The Circulation Requests report shows all requests placed by patrons in the current and previous months. Note that the source data for this report is available only if patrons are being verified while requesting an item.

To view this report:

  1. Choose Circ Activity from the reports menu.
  2. Choose Requests from the reports menu.
  3. Choose one of the following date ranges under the Dates section of the reports menu:

    Last MoDisplays activity in the last month.
    CurrentDisplays activity in the current month.
  4. Choose one of the following options under the By section of the reports menu:

    Location(Item)Displays statistics on requests for items at each library location, broken down by the home library of the patron making the request.
    Location(Bib)Displays statistics on requests for the earliest returned copy, broken down by the home library of the patron making the request.
    TerminalDisplays statistics on requests by the statistics group from which the requests were placed, broken down by type of requesting patron.
    Patron TypeDisplays statistics on requests by patron type.
    Item TypeDisplays statistics on requests by item type.
    ActualDisplays statistics on actual requests accepted by the library.
  5. Choose Submit.
  6. To view the most recent data, choose Recalculate.
