Using Courseware Integration - Blackboard

REQUIREMENTS

Courseware Integration - Blackboard requires Blackboard Community Systems (version 6.x and higher) with support for modules. This product was formerly known as Blackboard Portal Systems.

The Courseware Integration - Blackboard product enables organizations that are using the appropriate Blackboard Community Systems software to interface with Innovative products in the following ways:

Allow Blackboard users to follow links from their Blackboard account to their patron record in My Account.
Allow direct linking from Blackboard to a WebPAC view of a course record.

Blackboard users with patron accounts on an Innovative system can follow links in Blackboard to the corresponding course record in an Innovative catalog. Note that course names must match exactly (including case-sensitivity and spaces) for the two systems to synchronize.
Allow Blackboard users to submit a WebPAC search from Blackboard.

Blackboard users can choose a search type, enter search terms, and submit a search directly to the library WebPAC from the Blackboard interface.
Allow Blackboard users to submit Research Pro searches from Blackboard.

If your organization has acquired the Research Pro product, Blackboard users can enter search terms and submit Research Pro searches directly from the Blackboard interface.
