Charging Patrons for Requests

Your library can choose to charge patrons for requests. Your library determines the amount of the charge using the Requests: Amount to charge option. The system adds the charge to the patron record at the time the request is made. You must enable patron verification in order to charge for requests, as the system must be able to locate the patron record to levy the charge.

In the WebPAC, the charge notice appears on the patron identification form as a system message. For example:
