Requests: Amount to charge

This option sets the ability to charge patrons for requests and the amount to charge for each request.

If an amount is specified, patrons making requests are warned that a charge is assessed for the request. For more information, see Charging Patrons for Requests.

Removing Charges

Note that the system does not remove the charge from the Patron record if the patron subsequently cancels the request.

When you select this option, the following screen displays:

        1 > Amount: $_____
        2 > Do not charge for requests
        3 > Return to previous screen

Choose one:  (1-3) _

Choose 1 to specify the amount to charge.
