Editing the Item Record Associated with a Checkin Card Box

To access the Card tab, you must be assigned one of the following permissions:

077 (Serials checkin)
088 (Claim overdue issues)
089 (Bind serials)

To edit item records, you must be assigned permission 124 (Update item records).

Item records can be associated with checkin card boxes in Sierra. This procedure describes editing the item record associated with the checkin card box.

To edit the item record associated with a checkin card box:

Select one or more checkin card boxes.
Choose Tools | Box Menu | Modify Boxes Individually. The Modify Boxes Individually dialog displays.
Choose the Item Records button. Sierra displays the item record.
Edit the record.
Choose File | Save.
