Displaying Favorites in Sierra

Favorite resources are used with book jacket images. The resources that display when you click on book jacket images are called "favorite" resources. Leave the Link text text boxes of favorite resources blank, because Pathfinder Pro uses the book jacket as the link.

The favorite resource and Sierra origin must belong to the same category. The category must be active.

Only one favorite resource per application is allowed.

To display a favorite resource, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Resources from the menu on the left-hand side of the Pathfinder Pro home page.

    The Resources tab displays:

    Resources tab
  2. Choose the Edit button associated with the resource.

The Resource (<resource_name>) tab displays. For example:

    Resource tab
  3. Expand the Bibliographic record menu:

Bibliographic record menu of the Resource
  4. Enter a URL for the resource.
  5. Choose "Yes" for Display link in Sierra staff functions?

Additional menu options display. For example:

Bibliographic record menu-link on Millennium client
  6. Choose "Yes" for Is this a favorite resource?

Leave the Link text text box blank. The book jacket is the link; link text is not necessary.
  7. Verify that the favorite resource and the Sierra application used as the origin belong to the same category. The category must be active.
  8. Choose Save.
