Inventory Control with Circa Wireless Inventory (RFID)

To use Inventory Control from a wireless device, you must be assigned permission 251 (Circa Inventory Control). To edit items, you must be assigned permission 124 (Update item records). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

The Inventory Control function for the Circa Wireless Inventory (RFID) product enables you to use RFID technology to update inventory dates for multiple items from your wireless device. After each update process, Circa enables you to edit some or all of the following fields for each item (depending on the results of the process):

To update an item's inventory date with Circa Wireless Inventory (RFID):

  1. Access Circa's Inventory Control application. Circa displays the Inventory Control process items screen.

  1. Use your RFID wand to scan items. You can process as many items as your RFID technology allows.
  2. Choose Process Items. Circa displays the result summary screen.
  3. To process more items, choose New File from the result summary screen and use your RFID wand to scan a new set of items.
