Deleting ILL Requests

To delete ILL requests, you must be assigned permission 65 (ILL Admin). See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

ILL archives filled and cancelled requests in the filled requests and cancelled requests files, respectively. To maintain system space, ILL enables you to delete archived requests. (Note that you can also save space by downloading ILL files to your network or PC.)

To delete ILL request(s):

  1. Choose either Cancelled Requests or Filled Requests from the Function list.
  2. Select and right-click the request(s) that you want to delete.
  3. Choose the Delete option from the right-mouse button menu. ILL asks you to confirm the deletion of the selected requests.
  4. Choose Yes to delete the requests. ILL displays a progress dialog as it deletes the selected requests.
