Linking to Resources from External Origins

To link external origins and target resources:

1. Contact the external origin vendor to request:
   • access to their administration Web pages
   • an Open URL Service Identifier (SID)
2. On the vendor's web site, enter the information for the link from the external origin to the WebBridge server.
3. Origins must belong to a category. Create at least one category.
4. Define the origin.
5. Define at least one target resource.
   
   When you define a target resource, you have the option to display or suppress it.
   
   Data tests require data from an individual record. Data tests are not applicable when linking to target resources from browse screens.
6. Put the Other Resources or WebBridge button on the full record display.
