Comparing Funds Using Quick Lists

The Quick Lists feature allows you to create a temporary group of funds for comparison purposes. If you want to create a more permanent grouping of funds, you can create a hierarchy using the Grouping Funds feature.

To create a Quick List, do the following.

  1. Choose Funds from the Function list.
  2. Choose Tools | Quick List. Sierra displays a dialog that allows you to add funds to a temporary list of funds.
  3. Name the temporary list of funds. If you choose a name that is already in use, the system adds the funds you choose to that existing temporary folder.
  4. Choose a fund from the list and choose Insert. As you insert funds into the temporary group, they are dynamically added to the tree under the Temp folder.
  5. Continue choosing from the list and inserting funds. When you have finished adding funds to the folder, choose Done. You can view the data or charts for your temporary group as you would for a permanent group. The temporary folder of funds is available until you exit the Funds function.
