Fields to print on Serial issue claim form

Serial issue claim forms have a ten-line area for printing bibliographic information, instructions to vendors, and local instructions. This area is divided into three sections; the library can specify which fields print in each of these three sections. Fields can come from bibliographic and checkin records. The library can also specify the height of the form and whether certain codes should print on the form. The system determines what prints on other areas of the form.

Using Print Templates for Serial Claims

If you have enabled Print Templates for serial claims, you can define the fields that print in the Title Description element by choosing the "Top section of single claim or Title/Descrip of multi-title claim" setting of this option.

Note that the other settings in this option are not used by the system when print templates are enabled.

When you select this option, the system displays a screen similar to the following:

3 > Bottom section (Additional Checkin data)..................................C1

For a discussion of how to set this option, see Fields to print on Claim form. Even though the purchase order claim form is used as the example in that discussion, everything said there applies to this option. The single exception is that for serial issue claim forms you will select checkin record fields rather than order record fields.
