Set Tax Rates

You can charge goods and services tax (GST) on items sold and fees, but not on fines.

To charge GST

Add a tax rate in System Administration (staff client).
Assign a tax rate to fees in System Administration (staff client). See Add a fee description and tax rate entry.

Keep in the mind the following:

Any changes to an existing fee description or tax rate are immediately applied to all records using the original fee.
A changed tax rate might not appear in Leap unless you clear the browser's cache and refresh the page.
