Hold Options Dialog Box

To open this dialog box:
In Polaris Administration, select Parameters > Requests > Holds options.

Use the Holds options tabbed dialog box to control holds processing in the staff client, Polaris PowerPAC, Polaris PowerPAC Children’s Edition, and Mobile PAC. Most holds settings can made at the System, Library, or Branch level. However, the options that control charges for holds; the time when expired, canceled, and not-supplied hold requests are deleted from Polaris; and trapping preference groups can be set only at the System level.
